SnapNexus runs live photo walls for events. This policy explains what we collect from hosts and guests, why, and what control you have over it.
What we collect
- Hosts: your name, email address and password when you create an account. Passwords are handled by our backend provider and are never visible to us.
- Guests: the photos and videos you choose to upload. Guests don't create accounts and we don't ask for your name, number or email.
- Private groups: the group name and passcode you set. Passcodes are stored in scrambled (hashed) form.
- Payments: the plan, amount and UPI reference number (UTR) you give us, so we can confirm your payment. We never receive your bank or card details.
- Usage data: anonymous analytics (via PostHog) about how pages are used, such as page visits and device type, to help us improve the product.
How it's used
- To run your event: show photos on the live wall and guest page, and let the host download them.
- To manage your account and plan, and to reply when you contact us.
- We do not sell your data, and we don't use your photos for advertising or anything outside your event.
Who can see photos
- Photos shared to the big screen can be seen by anyone at the event, and by anyone with the event's link or QR code.
- Photos shared to a private group are only shown to people with that group's name and passcode, and to the event host.
- The host can see, hide, download and delete every upload from their event.
How long we keep it
- Free trial events: photos can be downloaded for 24 hours after the trial ends.
- Paid events: photos can be downloaded for 30 days after the event is created.
- After that, we may delete the files. Hosts can delete any photo, or ask us to delete a whole event, at any time.
Your choices
If a photo of you was uploaded and you'd like it removed, ask the event host or email us at sooperfast.net@yahoo.com with the event name. Hosts can ask us to delete their account and all their events the same way.
Where data is stored
Photos, videos and account data are stored with Appwrite Cloud, our backend provider. Analytics are processed by PostHog.
